Jake Armitage is known for having been a shadowrunner and data courier in the 2050s. He is a rare shaman with cyberware, which was implanted before he discovered his calling as a Dog Shaman. In 2054, he assisted a fellow runner in solving the Emerald City Ripper case.

In the late 2060s, Jake retired from shadowrunning and opened a small pub in Redmond: The Armitage Pub. Some speculate that he now works as a fixer, though Jake officially claims to have "put that life behind him".
